Impacting Our Youth

Craft-Tee Athletics Foundation was created to provide recreation through enrichment to inner city youth in the City of Pontiac.  Our vision is to see recreation for all children to be returned as it once was providing a safe space for our children and young adults.  We believe that providing recreation will occupy our kids time and minds with positive and productive focus keeping them out of the streets and ultimately out of trouble.

Youth Enrichment

Providing Dance, Art’s & Crafts, Music, and Technology empowers the youth to use their own personal talents.

Healthy Nutrition

Our goal starts with providing healthy meals and promoting positive nutrition to fuel our kids.

Recreation

Promotes health and physical fitness while teaching how to work together as a team and support each other.

CRAFT TEE ATHLETICS FOUNDER

My name is Troy F Craft and I am the Founder and Director of the Craft Tee Athletics Foundation which started in 2008 with youth athletics programs.  We are a community-based organization founded in Pontiac Michigan which became a 501-C3 in August 2021 with a goal to provide free Sports Training, Enrichment and Outreach Programs for the children and young adults under age 21 in the city of Pontiac and surrounding areas.

I was born and raised in this beautiful former all-American city, a lifelong resident who was impacted as a child with the free programs that were offered to the kids in our community. Sports and after-school programs kept many of us off the streets and provided a safe environment to learn how to interact with other peers of our community.

Our goal is to provide services for the children of the community and create an even playing field when compared to surrounding areas. I feel the children of Pontiac deserve everything other youth enjoy daily.

Nutrition, education and fitness will be a focal point of our activities. We will partner with local food providers to deliver daily healthy meals for the children. We will also provide outreach services including G.E.D preparation and job placement for young adults.

We are hoping to collaborate with other nonprofits and community programs with the purpose of curbing juvenile delinquency in the City of Pontiac.
